Hope I'm not repeating myself here. As always, your story is a delight. The portrayal of the twins as children seems just right. Celeborn is exactly as I would have him: Strong, wise, loving, and compassionate even to those Noldor who would never seem to be able to see from another's point of view as Celborn seems to be able to do. Must go to bed. I've been meaning to reurn to your stories for eons now, but I keep getting distracted. Always a delight. Like finding a pristine spot in a primeval forest and spending the day just wading in a river after a lifetime of dirty city living. Author Reply: Ooh, thanks! How great to get a second review - and to know that the stories are worth coming back to. Thank you! And Like finding a pristine spot in a primeval forest and spending the day just wading in a river after a lifetime of dirty city living. Wow! I don't think I've ever had a lovelier comment. Thank you!

I don't know how I manage it, but I "lose" stories that I intend to read. My bookmarks have become too long. I had marked this when you first mentioned it, and just now stumbled across it. Beautiful, thoughtful, resonating with the past. I love how you seem to be able to get into minds like ours, but not like ours, with the sense of the htousands of years Celeborn has loved. You do it better than anyone else. I must find a way to live a few thousand years myself so I will have time to read just a tenth of the stories and history I want to read. Thank you for writing. (And why don't more people review???) Author Reply: Thanks for the review, Kalima! I'd forgotten this story too, and it's great to think that it's still being read with enjoyment. For my part I just enjoy the Sindar POV, though I couldn't really say why it does more for me than the Noldor - perhaps it's just the general bloodymindedness of liking the things other people dont ;) This got quite a few reviews on FF.net I think, so I'm quite happy with the lack of them here :) But also very delighted with yours. Thanks again!

*Sob, Sob* That...That was beautiful. This is the first fic I've ever seen that shows what Celeborn's views of his past and his Sindar blood. I hope to see you writing another Sindar fic again someday.

I love it! It does seem the Sindar are somewhat underappreciated; and I never was comfortable with the term "Moriquendi", at least not for those of Doriath. Cute, sweet, and absolutely wonderful! The homey details of breakfast were great! Keep up the good work!
