lol, that was great! That things got all confused and no one knew what really was going on. I love that Estella, Pervinca and the rest ended up tasting the medicine without knowing what it was. Such great laughts throughout the story! Thank you for the fun!

Author Reply: And thank *you* for reading! I apologize for not responding sooner--lots of overtime at work these past couple weeks. Yes, for some reason (it makes for good drama!) no one noticed that wee bit of difference in the brandy! ;-) I'm glad it made you have a good laugh! Thanks again for reading!

Lol! I had a great time reading this! Those lads never learn, do they? At least no-one came to real harm from it. And Merry does have an eye for business so it`s not surprising that it went well in the end. :)

Author Reply: My apologies for not responding much sooner! I've been working lots of overtime at work the past couple of weeks. I'm glad the story made you laugh--I've been making some folks cry for months now. It feels good to see people laughing now! :-) Thank you for reading! :-)

OH MY!!! Whatever gave you this idea!!?? Absolutely hilarious!!! Well Done Indeed!!!

Author Reply: Hehehe! I'm so sorry for not writing back right away--but as you know, I've been working LOTS of OT (overtime) for the past two weeks. I don't have the foggiest where this idea came from--most likely desperation! Thank you for reading!

*snort* For some reason I am reminded of the old gag about Ex-lax brownies...very funny!

Author Reply: LOL...I was hoping a few brave souls would slide on through this tale. The outcome was sheer relief! Thanks for reading! :-)

Loved Pervinca's sense of humor in this one. I also got a big laugh out of the thieves getting robbed. The robbers got a bit more than they expected to get though. LOL I am glad that .....are you ready for this line?.....I am glad that everything came out well in the end! Great story!

Author Reply: ROTFLMBO!!! Thanks G.W.--that's real sweet coming from the queen of humorous tales.

LOL So Pippin is stealing sugar from the kitchen lasses and while Merry steals from Saradoc. This is too funny! I love the fact that this new stomach medicine works, but works entirely too well. BB&T Restorative Remedy sounds like it will increase visits to the privy in Buckland. LOL Now, it looks as if they've been caught, but I wonder if they will be well enough to punish.

Author Reply: Yeah...sounds like "job security" for the out-house workers! Oh, of course they'd get caught--that was half the fun of writing this one... ;-) Thanks for reading, G.W.!

For some strange reason, this prologue makes me want a salad. Maybe it's the mention of the lettuce and the tomatoes. Who in their right mind would throw anything etable? Not very hobbit-like. LOL I am thrilled to see a new story up from you. I was just answering a review that you left for me and wishing for a new story from you. Now, here it is. I plan to read and enjoy like I always do when you are the author!

Author Reply: LOL...this was a "ready-made" story, though. I'm glad you're not going to take aim...at least today! I still haven't found my Rohan Shield...perhaps one from Gondor will suffice. ;-)

LOL! That was funny. I know I laughed at least once during each part, including you Author's Notes.

Whatever that bark was, it must have been some potent stuff. Of couse, destilling it probably seriously compounded it's effect.

Thanks for such a humorous story.

Author Reply: You're most welcome! Thank *you* for reading it! LOL...I don't have the name of the plant I "used" in this tale, but yes...it's VERY potent! It reminded me of Ex-Lax too, so your view is on the money. Thanks for withholding the tomatoes! I know that shield is around here somewhere...! Take care.
