Lovely interlude between the two brothers.

A nice moment for the Hurin boys, I enjoy tales of them together. I could see the girls by the fountain & the stairs Faramir climbed by your compelling description.

Anxiously awaiting updates on Twisted Fate :) I don't think I've ever reviewed it, as I believe I'd read it on another site that didn't allow anonymous reviews? Perhaps I'm remembering incorrectly, but I'll tell you now that I have thoroughly enjoyed that story so far.

It sounds as though your writer's block has diminished on TF. As to the continual apologies & offers to make up to your readers for the lack of updates - school is always more important. However, since you seem to be such a generous soul, it would be silly of me not to voice my request - let Boromir live! (& can we see some of him?)

This was a nice moment. I've always liked the warm relationship between these two who had every right to resent one another, given their father's favoritism. The library corner made me want to be there.

I do have one question though. When does this take place? Faramir seems pretty young, which would mean that Eomer would be even younger. Would Eomer have been old enough to duel with Boromir?

Charming! Great characterizations. You really caught Boromir in all his self-centered pride (one of the reasons I love him), and clever, thoughtful Faramir.

You really evoked a memory for me of a similar niche, reading in the sun, and those simlutaneous feelings of power, freedom, and smallness.
