Wow.. that made me cry.. that was such a good story. In my head I heard the grey havens music. It really got me because Sam's my favorite character. When Rosie died.. oh.. that made me cry! Author Reply: Hello! I'm glad you could read this. ^^ I love the grey havens music!! Whenever I'm reading Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, Harry Potter, whatever, I put on a soundtrack from the corresponding movie. It's really cool. ^^ And Sam is one of my very favorites as well. I tried to capture exactly how he would feel losing his very closest friend, healing, and being torn in two once again. I think it worked. ^^ I'm glad you enjoyed this! Thanks for reading!

Very well written... Sam... He hates the sea, because the loss of frodo is a hard one for him to bear. He locks away the book and his memories of all that had happened. But years later it calls him back, memories that cannott be forgotten. A letter Frodo wrote to him. Saying one day the sea would call him as well.. And it does... very nice... Author Reply: Sam would never be able to forget his dark memories while remaining in Middle Earth. Across the Sea, he'll be able to find healing like Frodo and forget the shadows that he remembers. Thanks for your review, I'm glad you enjoyed this!

Wow. That was really, really well-writen. And talk about powerful. You're writing style is great and the emotions are so real. Wow. Author Reply: *blushes* Thank you so much! I always pick emotional scenes and subjects to write about because that's my favorite part of writing...I can't do long stories with 50 chapters and complicated plots. I don't think I'm that creative. I just try to get into characters' heads and tap into their emotions. Anyway, I'll shut up now. I'm so glad you enjoyed this. :)

Beautifully done. I detect a great deal of the book in your writing, as well. I was so disappointed at the movie ending, myself, such final words as "last ship" and no promise for Samwise... I'm glad you changed that with your embroidery. Thanks! Author Reply: I'm glad you enjoyed this! When I saw Return of the King for the first time, I was so mad at Frodo for leaving Sam and not even telling him that he had the chance to come later. ^^ Thanks for reading and reviewing!

It's wonderful to see this up! You did a great job with it and you can really understand Sam's reasons for going over the Sea as being two fold: to be with Frodo, and heal from the loss of Rose. Well done! Author Reply: Thank you for reading for a third time!! ^^ I'm glad that Sam has a chance for healing too...he faced the Shadow, but he was fortunate not to be consumed, as Frodo pretty nearly was. I'm so glad Frodo and Sam can see each other again. ^^ Thanks again for all your help!!

Yes, much like I had envisioned, too, at times. Well written, and good use of language. Author Reply: Thanks for your comments! It was always irritating for me in the movie when Frodo never tells Sam that he can follow him later. I had to change that, and this story was the result. ^^ Thanks for your review!

Very nice. I like the idea that Frodo, and then Sam, both felt the sea-longing, something otherwise reserved for Elves. Beautifully done, very serene. Author Reply: Yes, the Ring and other horrors of their journey changed their lives forever. And so they are drawn to the Sea! I'd like to visit the Sea and the Undying Lands...Gandalf makes them sound just wonderful. :) Thanks for reading and reviewing! I'm glad you enjoyed it. ^^
