Sam was in a sad state so worried about where pippin could be. Just to find him fast asleep in a wheelbarrowl. Sam even pushing him down the hill in it,very nice...

Author Reply: Yes, it certainly was a series of mishaps until Sam found Pippin. Thanks for reading and commenting! I'm glad you enjoyed it :)

Awwwww!! This was absolutely adorable and delightful! Whata perfect little scene between Sam and Pippin (characterized perfectly, as well)! LoL I really liked this line:

'Pippin shrugged, sensing that the conversation was becoming confusing and therefore boring.'

And also the bit about the Gaffer saying how asking those kind of questions meant either having too much brains or too little. And the part about letting your imagination run away with you (I too often am plagued with such a thing, hehe) What a wonderful story, thank you! ^_^

Author Reply: Thank YOU! Your comments are so sweet. I'm glad you liked the part with the Gaffer - it just seemed like the sort of thing he would say! I'm really glad that you enjoyed this story :)

Very nice fluff, I find. And I can certainly see Sam and Pippin in exactly that situation. Like your language for Sam.

Author Reply: Thank you! I really do try to make Sam sound like Sam. I'm so glad you liked it! :)

"Sam shook his head and resumed his digging. This lad was asking about things that most hobbits never even questioned, a sign, according to the Gaffer, of either having too much brains or too little."

This made me laugh out loud! The old Gaffer is a wise man, indeed!

Thank you for this story. I enjoyed reading it!

This was a very enjoyable read! I think you really captured Sam beautifully, and I liked the slightly-spoiled, but always charming Took. Thanks!

Author Reply: Thanks, Jeodo! I'm so glad you enjoyed this and that you thought I "captured" Sam - that certainly means a lot to me! :)
