Oh, so very nice! I love the conversation of the forest animals and the pixie leading Merry to wee Pippin, and then watching over the two of them later as they slept. Very, very sweet and quite enjoyable. Thank you for this treat! :-) Author Reply: Thank you so very much for the kind compliments. This made my day :) I hope you are having a nice one as well!

Oh, what a sweet story! And such an interesting concept - I loved seeing the animals of the forest debate over Pippin. I like how you played off the legend of the Tooks having faery blood to have a faery save Pippin's life. Very enjoyable! :) Author Reply: Thank you very much! The legend of the Faerie blood in the Tooks has always been a concept that has interested me, I'm really glad that you liked the story! Thank you for reading!

A very endearing story... Pippin wanders into the forest and finds himself the attention of the animaals of the forest...I liked the dialog with the animals, that was an unexpected surprise. As the wolf and fox discuse the ways to perhaps harm him, the mouse goes and finds a fairie to help... You see through the fairies eyes how she reconizes the story of a farie bride.... She brings Pippin to saftey,as he is reunited with Merry, and shines brighter for it... As they lay aslepp she comes to look as to know they are safe... Very sweet, Loved this one...Great work... Author Reply: Thank you! I am very glad that you liked it. Pippin's Tookishness does get him into mounds of trouble often, I'm afraid. But luckily, this time (without him even knowing it) it helped get him out too! As usual, thank you for reviewing! :P

The animal conversation reminds me of the animals in LOTR that see the hobbits sleeping out of doors and think it very strange. I enjoyed this very much. Your descriptions of the forrest are wonderful and I love Merry's reunion with Pippin. I have seen the farie blood written of before but don't recall it including Merry in its light. I should think it would as he is half Took and so I did enjoy that you show a bit of farie blood in him also. Thank you for a lovely read! Author Reply: Thank you! I'm glad you liked how I included Merry. After all, 'tis only fair, he has Took in him as well, for all his Brandybuck (quite a combination, I'd imagine). The notion of Faerie blood in the Tooks has always intrigued me, and I've always wanted to write more about it, it just seems so interesting. I wonder how that Took ancestor managed to get a faerie to fall in love with him! Hmm.. I'm glad that you liked it :) And as always, thank *you* for reading, Wonderer!

This is as magical as the faeries themselves. A wonderful story!! Author Reply: Thank you! I am very glad that you enjoyed it! That Tookish whippersnapper brother of yours! Good thing that same Tookishness that gets him into trouble so often, helped get him out this time too!
