| *ROFL* Ah, just what I needed today! That doesn't leave any question where Pippin has his cheekiness from :) Frodo looked at Pippin – Pippin, who trusted him so completely and waited for his guidance. He thought of Merry, years before, sitting on the floor of the Brandy Hall kitchen and clutching a jar tightly in his tiny hands as he tried to convince his mother that yes, grapes do grow from potatoes, because Frodo had said so. *snickers* I can picture that perfectly. And Esmeralda... very mean of her, how she arranged that potatoe-cleaning scene :) Thank you for linking me to this. Author Reply: Thanks so much, Lily! I'm glad you read this and enjoyed it! I'm very fond of mischievous Frodo, but since I was once on the receiving end of a prank very much like this one I wanted Pippin to get his revenge against his mean old cousin :) And Esmeralda definitely wanted revenge - she practically forced me to do it! *grin* | |

| That Frodo's a nasty trickster! No wonder he was called the terror of Brandy Hall. I know what it's like to have tricks played on you by cousins (and brother); I was always extremely gullible.
