ROFLMAO ! your stories should come with the warning " do not eat or drink while reading. I almost sprayed my screen.

LOL! The situations you put them in are absolutely hilarious. ;)

Author Reply: Thanks, Medea. I can't take complete credit for it, though. Many of the ridiculous ideas originate with my husband. He came up with the palantir as a bowling ball. I thought of the gambling. I can't really say which one is worse.

You may have not intended it to be so, but be informed that I’m taking your characters for their namesakes (a blond, wonderful, scholarly, friend of mortals elf called Inglor, IS Inglor, Finarfin’s son to me, while a Xena-like woman called Haleth can’t be any other that Haleth herself) and enjoying it tenfold. ;-)

It’s so extraordinarily funny in such a self-effacing way! I’m enjoying it way too much, I tell you...

Author Reply: Thank-you, Perelleth

I'm flattered that you interpret the characters as canonical.

Love it! Love it! Love it!

(But, I don't think I'd want to be Inglor at the moment...) ;-D

Author Reply: Thank-you for the kind review, Elena Tiriel.

Poor Inglor. He always seems to be in Haleth's bad books for one reason or another. It must be a talent.

::claps her hands and squeals in delight::: LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!! Omg I LOVE the relationship these two have, Haleth! And for whatever reason, I keep forgetting that Inglor is BEAUTIFUL... I see him as a "not so pretty elf".. don't ask me why... maybe it's his attitude and umm, verboseness. yeah. that must be it. ::Giggles::

Him betting her surprised me. Must be because I'm so very tired. which also explains why my review is so... strange. :) But I like how you made him feel guilty. And I can't wait to hear more of their background together, and what they do with the palantir next.

::encourages other Ardans to join her chant:: Chapter 4! Chapter 4! Chapter 4! Chapter 4!........ :)

Author Reply: Thank-you Dayawayna.

Yes, Inglor is very good looking. Haleth doesn't hear most of what he says, she just likes the way he says it.

Poor Inglor! He just seems to be so out of place and put upon. And he's such a decent guy. Haleth should cut him a little slack. I have no idea where you are going with this, but I'm coming along, regardless. It's just too intriguing not to. :-D ~TF

Author Reply: Thanks!

You're right. She should go easy on him. She doesn't understand his culture and he doesn't understand hers. This leads to all kinds of misunderstandings as they continually miss each others signals.
