That was a beautifully written story, although I feel it needs a little more after the end. What happens to Thranduil? Does he fade? Does he go to Valinor? What happens to Aragorn for that matter? I loved your piece, and it is a very well written one, but you might need to go a bit farther on the effect of the killing of Legolas/Saeragar on his closest friends and family. But, then again, the story ends beautifully without elaborating, but still the reader (in my opinion) wants more. It is a complicated emotion, but I feel as though you have done very well on this AU/CD piece. ~ArcherGal2932 Author Reply: Thank you for your kind words about my writing. I knew exactly how I wanted this story to end even before I started it. I didn’t want to write a long, emotional aftermath. In this case, I want the reader to visualize it however they choose. I can tell you, and Begrin hinted at it, that Thranduil, Galáril (and the elven partents in the forest) recovered once Saeragar died. How they and Aragorn handled Legolas's death I leave to your imagination. I don't usually do that, but in this case, I thought it was a viable way to end the story. Thanks again. I hope you will join me for my next story.

wow. what an end. So Legolas, Begrin, and Saeragar all die. wowie... can't believe you ended it like that, I'M STILL CURIOUS! -sofia Author Reply: Ending it like that was my plan all along. I didn't want a long, emotional aftermath. I intended to let the readers visualize that however they chose. I can tell you this: Thranduil, Galáril and the two elven parents in the forest all recovered after Saeragar died. I hope you will join me for my next story. It will be quite different.

You evil, evil, evil, evil, evil, evil, evil, evil, evil, evil, EVIL person!!! how could you write such a good story and then end it like that? Do they get Thranduil back, what happened to the leadership of the realm? Ohhhhhh! Evil! Think you for such an enjoyable story, but you are soooo evil! To many cliffies!!!!! Write more! Galimeril ;D Author Reply: Come on, now. Tell me what you really think. :o) Yes, I guess I am evil. Too let you know, Thranduil recovers and so does Garláril. Remember that Begrin said he didn't think they had been under Saeragar's control long enough not to recover. From the beginning, I had planned to end the story this way. I didn't want to go through a long, emotional aftermath. I'm glad you liked the story. I hope you will join me for the next one. It will be quite different. Author Reply: Well, I managed to mess up Galáril's name. And Too should be To.

I can not believe that that is the end! It is an excellent story but are wondering if Thranduil and Galáril return to there normal selfs. I do love all of your storys so i am looking forward to your next one. Author Reply: Yep, that is the end. Thank you. I'm glad you liked my effort. I couldn't really tell what happened to Thranduil and Galáril without going into the aftermath, which I didn't want to do. That's why I had Begrin say earlier that Thranduil would probably be all right, since he wasn't under Saeragar's control very long. The same goes for Galáril. They are fine. ;o) Thank you again. My next story will be called Dragonfire. It will be a serious action/adventure with a lot of humor in it. I hope to hear from you, when I start posting it.

" ... a pain so deep he knew he would carry it in his wounded soul for the rest of his days, Aragorn released his arrow." Aragorn needed to do that in order to save the world, but it was still heart-breaking. Now that Legolas' fea has fled to the Halls of Mandos, is he still in his " ... green forest of such unmatched beauty that he was sometimes reluctant to leave it."? I hope so. Epilogue??? Author Reply: It was heart-breaking, wasn't it? Even knowing that Legolas was already gone, firing that arrow had to be one of the hardest things Aragorn had ever done, or ever would do. I'd like to think of Legolas being in his private forest until he can leave the Halls and go to Valinor. That, at least, is comforting. No epilogue, I'm afraid. I wanted to end the story abruptly and not go into the aftermath, which an epilogue would have to do. I'll leave that part of the story up to the readers to envision.

I really hope that Saeragar doesn't take control of Legolas' body again and kill Thranduil, even with the four gaurds twenty yards away. -sofia Author Reply: I hope so, too. Actually, I know what will happen. It's one of the perks of being the author. :o) The next chapter will reveal part of the answer.

Saeragar is evil... i like him... This story is so evil... Evil is good... And i am from Finland... Is Legolas... i mean saeragar really going to kill Thranduil... It's so evil, and i like it...as much as i like your stories... p.s And there was absolutely nothing in this review... But hey, it just life... Have you heard anything about The Hitchhikers guide to the calaxy-movie? If you have...Tell me about it...I'm listening... T: Your Finish-reader Author Reply: I tried to make Saeragar very evil. I'm glad you agree he is, because evil can be a lot of fun. Unfortunately, he isn't finished yet. Big trouble ahead for our heroes. Here's a summary of "Hitchhikers" that I found. Author Reply: Ooops. Let me try that again. - In this adventure based on the best-selling novel of the same name, Arthur Dent's house is about to be demolished when he discovers that his best friend is an alien and that the entire planet Earth is about to be destroyed to make way for a hyperspace bypass! Seems Arthur's only chance for survival is to hitch a ride on a passing spacecraft.
