| Happy New Year! Poor Merry - being the one to stay behind and wait must have been so hard on him. He managed to avoid being left behind in Rohan, but still ended up waiting for the world to end without him. But it didn't. And they're home - and healing. Mostly. Author Reply: Thank you! Yes that time was a very rough time for Merry, and he had already felt the lonelyness and despair, when he gets reunited with Pippin, but it`s only for a very short while and then everything feels even more lonely. :) | |
