O! I really like this! I remember I read 'Rubbing Shoulders With Nobility' a long time ago and I put it on my favorites list because I liked it so much. This is a very pleasant surprise and an interesting POV -- it seems fitting Faramir would be in the library, too, after all. And also, what a wonderful parallel you drew to Faramir with Frodo's agonized words! 'It never was good enough; Faramir had known that all his life.' How poignant! At least Amehtir unknowingly helped how the Ringbearer and Faramir, as well. :) Great job with this! Author Reply: Yes, Holdur's story is terrific and it really touched me, too.
