| Great story! angst, action, you-name-it, you had it here. I really liked how you portrayed Elrond. strong, determined, caring, but not invincible. It was intersting to see how he changed in the presence of Celeborn and Galadriel. We all become a bit more of a child in the presence of our parents, do we not? Parents-in-law they may be, but they seemed to have the same effect. Your portrayal of Galadriel was exquisite - every gesture, every description, every word, was Galadriel. Well, well done. Interesting closing scene. This is just the kind of cultural detail I can see in the world of elves of middle-earth. great job, monica | |

| Thank you - I really enjoyed "seeing" a little of the earlier events of Legolas's life, and the interaction (& attendant problems of) between Imladris, Lothlorien, and Mirkwood. | I found this link through the MC, and really enjoyed this story. Your pacing of the tale flowed with lots of angst and worry for young Legolas. The details you used to describe the orcs and the development of the elves characters brought this whole story to life for me. I hope more people do as I did and come read this story! | |

| I can't believe no one has reviewed this here! No matter. I will! Let's just say, I am not an elf person, but I like good writing, and I have always enjoyed your pieces. I have recommended them to everyone I know who is an elf person and have yet to hear any complaints. You have a readable style and an attention for detail and controversy that is very refreshing. Your fully fleshed characters are in character (when applicable) and believable. I am glad to see you posting this here. | |
