| What a shattering story! I never did get back to read this on the Challenge site. This hit home especially as we lost a dearly loved six-year-old friend to cancer some years ago. It is too bad they didn't have an Ent-draught to save her. Author Reply: *sigh* Indeed, Ent-draught would be most welcome in this world, where despite all our knowledge, still so many die that we would wish saved...
