Another adventure ended, and all are happy and (mostly) well. I really liked your Halbarad, and Thalguron -- I think it made perfect sense that they were wary at first, it's their duty and their way of life. But hobbit kids (and Bilbo) can wear anyone down ... :-) Thanks for writing! Author Reply: Thank you for your kind reviews. I have a weakness for h/c (hurt/comfort), heavy on the "c", especially when it comes to hobbits. And I can (usually) guarantee a happy ending!

Ah, the eternal dilemma -- stay in the warm bed, or investigate the breakfast-like smell ... :-)

I was wrong, it wasn't Gandalf. Ah well ... :-P

Umm ... Gandalf? :-) Hope Frodo's okay, he seems to be taking a while to shake it off -- but I guess we didn't see how it went with Halbarad, so I suppose this could be similar. Or, maybe because he's smaller it just takes longer ...

Well ... I can see this going bad. Somehow I suspect this won't be as smooth as they would like. I read the other Halloween story at the link you sent me, BTW. It was great! She does such a good job w your character setup, and it was a cute little story. Thanks for passing it along!

So ... not immune. I never really believed that he would be, though -- what would be the point of that? :-P

Well, that's just fantastic. *shakes head* Either he'll give them the slip and they'll have to go looking for him ... or hobbits won't be affected at all. (Probably neither will happen, and I'm on completely the wrong track ... :-P)

Ha! I just can't see this going well at all ... :-P

I know it is late in the coming, but I really want to leave a review for your story, Forces of Nature. ( hope I got that right) im really likeing this story line an I hope you will write more. Also, you describe Scamp as a small dog. Is she a poodle/multise or multipoo, as they are called? I own a multipoo, and he was brought to mind when the personality of Scamp was described. In case you are wondering,by the way, my dog's name is Samwise Gamgee, Sam for short. Author Reply: Thank you for your review! I let folks imagine Scamp in whatever way they choose. Your multipoo sounds adorable. My dog's name is Pippin! (I have a chihuahua-terrier mix.)

I just spent a lovely afternoon re-reading this delightful tale. I love how the trees recognize that Frodo is special and tell him to bring Aragorn. Merry's introduction to the series is spot on and it's always a delight when wee Pippin puts in an appearance. Author Reply: Oh Addie, you make me smile so big. I loved writing this so much, and I'm just thrilled you enjoyed it enough to re-read. *hugs you all up*
