| Wow, was I supprised, and pleased, to find this. What a sweet child Pippin was. Even then, I don't think he had a mean-spirited bone in his body. He only behaved badly toward Sancho because Sancho was mean to him and his dear, sweet dad. I'm looking forward to more of these tales. Thanks. Connie B. | Loved Paladin's reaction to Olo saying that if he fed Pippin he might grow up to be like Sancho. This one reminded me of the mum's at school events comparing notes on their little darlings. | That's so cute! I love stories with Pip as a faunt! So that was Sancho, who tried to dig up the cellar at Bag End when Bilbo left? No wonder he was such a handful for Merry and Frodo to get rid of! Author Reply: LOL...you and I both love him as a wee faunt! I can promise you that this won't be the last tale; I like writing about small children--they're so innocent. Yes, lol, Sancho: the one and the same--and apparently Frodo had a time of it because a full-grown hobbit such as he had a "tussle" with the lad in getting him out. I've mused for a long while on Pippin and Sancho, being the same age and all, so I suppose we shall see a few more glimpses of the hardier lad meeting up with our favorite wee one.
