Hobbit Tales  by PIppinfan1988 3 Review(s)

You are being busy PIp...er PF (*g* & thanks for the permission - it feels so much more friendly,) I am just getting around to reviewing this tale and two more pop up. I will try not to wait three days before reviewing them!

I did read and enjoy this over at Marigold's Challenge. I know it is almost incidental to the tale I would love to hear more about this special lantern.

Author Reply: LOL, well, not *that* busy -- my job keeps me a little more employed than I like, taking up the free time I'd have to muse up new tales. Actually, there *are* new tales swimming in the back of my head, but I have so little time of late to sit down and write.

I have a huge backlog of Challenge tales to post, and I certainly don't plan to deluge folks with them, but I decided to post these particular ones today because *if* someone were to comment on them *now*, I would never know it because I don't return to these sites. If someone takes the time out of their busy day to leave a kind word of encouragment--someone like you :-), a response in kind is my way of saying thank you. I *know* I'm not the only person chained to the workplace, which makes the review (your review!) all the more appreciated.

Reviewing twice was certainly a surprise, and thank you very much! The special Lantern is one of the "new" stories swimming inside my head, lol. We'll have to see what the coming days, weeks, or months may bring. :-)

So, we're left wondering how this one managed to acquire the lantern, and to hope Tinker didn't lose too much in the trading.

Bless Pippin for his perseverence.

Author Reply: Oh, I'm sure there was some sort of bartering and buyin going on between the Tinker and the Peddler, but that wasn't at the forefront of Pippin's mind. He just wanted his keepsake back.

LOL, or shall we say, "stubbornness"?

Thanks for reading!

I love this! It is the sweetest tale. How often does this happen, that we lose something, either tangible or intangible, that we didn't mean to lose and then have to struggle to get it back.

Wonderful, dearest Pippinfan!!!

Author Reply: Dear, dear, Pearl -- you are so sweet! Most times we never get it back, which is sad. Thank you so much for stopping by to read -- again, lol. I really do appreciate it. :-)
