| I knew I was going to love this fic from the first paragraph. That so perfectly fits with my idea of Merry! I loved the descriptions of the little personality traits of the hobbits - the way Pippin hated to be on look-out, for example. The comment about 'letting older cousins do the thinking' was perfect - Pippin in a nutshell. Ohhhh, has Merry contemplated the consequences of his actions?? Author Reply: Tweenager!Pippin is a joy to write. I've been writing him post-Quest lately, so getting to write him as immature and silly is a real joy. Merry is in *trouble*! And while I'm at it, I'd like to thank you for your funny stories, especially the ones set in Rivendell. They're what I need when I need a real laugh. :) | |

| Heehee, I love it! Even though I know the title's from Shakespeare, I can't help thinking it a little clever that Merry was the hobbit who started it. And I absolutely love the thought of Aragorn screaming like a girl! Legolas's response was also priceless. I can't wait to see what Aragorn's retaliation is! | That's so funny! Aragorn, the fearless ranger, afraid of frogs! And what made me grin, too, was that Pippin is afraid of Diamond, his bossy cousin. Well, seems he changed his mind in the end ;-) Aragorn is a clever ranger, though! Maybe he WILL ask Frodo, and if he does, Merry and Pippin will have a very difficult time! Author Reply: Frogs are the silliest thing to be afraid of, aren't they? Poor Aragorn. I don't know if he's going to tell Frodo, as right now I'm being led blindly by these characters. | Well, Aragorn may have decided that he can play as well - but he is confronting Merry! And Pippin. He really should take some advice from Frodo before deciding he's up to the challenge!
