| I really enjoyed the play between Galdor and Cirdan, especially Cirdan trying to balance between when he should just listen and when he should offer advice. I found Galdor's emotions and memories of the events at Gondolin to be heart wrenching. Overall, this was very well written and I look forward to more from you. Gwynhyffar | |

| What a beautiful and touching story! I think that your writing has captured the essence of the torment of survivor's guilt. The fic is concise and doesn't drag on. I think that there was a tad too sudden a change from internal agony to realisation, though, and you could have pushed Galdor's sufferings a little further, but I think it represents well the consequences of the fall of Gondolin on a very personal scale of one of its survivors.
