I reviewed this at OSA but I really liked it so I will do it here too. I really enjoyed Boromir in these drabbles. I enjoy seeing his POV of the various locations/situations. He is a great character in the books and that comes through here. This was a very clever idea for a drabble series.

Interesting take on an oft-told subject. Boromir's weariness, pride and struggle against the Ring are nicely captured in these 100-word snapshots.

Marvelous writing here. Spare and poetic and quite powerful. Your talent at assuming a voice and making a statement is most impressive!

Oh my, what a heartrending piece, and a beautiful set of drabbles. You write beautifully.

I have lived only to oppose the hordes and armies of Mordor, but that struggle here is dwarfed.

Marvelous. You show that Boromir is aware of everything going on --within and without -- but feels powerless nonetheless.

here is Peace, tended by the Elves in the unwavering light of fairer times

What an exquisite phrase!

Boromir is a tragic figure in the classic sense -- a "great" man, one with strengths and much good in him, who nonetheless falls, and does so because of his good intentions. You capture some telling moments for him here.
