| Oh my, dearie – what are you doing? You got me all in tears, so very touching, heartbreaking, sweet and tender. You write Sam so lovingly, his pain and desperation as well as his love for Frodo is palpable. What a wonderful story, one of the best I’ve ever read. | Oh, our poor, poor Frodo! It's so sweet how Sam looks after him. But I think, if I were Frodo, I'd also be inclined to tease him a bit for being "an over-protective mother hen!" :-) I just love the little flashback in which Sam remembers one of their childhood adventures! I loved writing this and wallowing in all the hobbity love. I want my own Sam so bad, don't you? :) You mentioned in "Kindred Spirits" about it being set to music - maybe I could mention it to my oh-so-talented 11 year niece who has been composing her own dramatic, lush piano compositions since she was 9 and earlier this year composed music and sang for me the first lullaby in here.
