| Not exactly canon, as Pippin got up only a day or two before Frodo and Sam woke, Frodo woke first and Sam second, and only Gandalf was there when Sam awoke, but beautiful and evocative. Author Reply: Larner, I suppose I should have put a warning that it's more movie verse than canon, since the movie doesn't show it and so gives you latitude there, but thanks for liking it! :) Namarie, God bless, Antane | |
