Set Backs and Bonds Forged  by Coriandra 16 Review(s)

I love this story so much--i frequently revisit it for the Sam h/c that seems to be scarce these days. I really like this Fellowship story overall because there are so many different scenes of mutual comfort during an angsty situation. I really liked the Sam and Gimli dialogue here and especially love the fact that Frodo heard what they were saying and smiled.

Your Sam h/c is awesome though-- and i love the action in trying to get him to feel better. And poor Aragorn with his guilt!

Author Reply: Thank you very much. It's good to know that the story's still being read and enjoyed. I really enjoyed writing this chapter. It was challenging, butrewarding at the same time. And of course, poor Aragorn felt terrible about his mistake. That part was fun to write.:). It's a good thing he got over his guilt at the end of the story. Thanks again for your feedback. I'm glad you like the story.

I loved the fact that Gimli has been given a major role in this chapter! You always do such a good job!

You have captured Sam's character so well in this chapter. I could almost feel him twitching to be up. Nice take on Gimli too.

Author Reply: Yes, it's becoming pretty difficult for Sam, isn't it? The poor Hobbit needed some support. Thanks for reviewing, I'm glad you're still enjoying the story.

Poor Aragorn - I'm glad the others all forgave him, he's beating himself up enough as it is... Silly Pippin needs to stop blaming everybody around him LOL!

Author Reply: Yes, Pippin definately needs some correcting, doesn't he? So does Aragorn for condemning himself for this mistake.

Thanks for your feedback; it was much appreciated, as always.

Yay, Boromir is back! I love the scene with him and the hobbits :)

Author Reply: Glad you liked it, that was one of my favourite scenes too.

Hey this is great - I know you wrote a disclaimer against it but I'm printing this out in case I'm ever stuck in a cave with a sick hobbit :)

Author Reply: *laughs* Not much chance of that, I don't think, but thank you anyway. I love your feedback.

LOL at Aragorn swearing in Elvish! Hmm what is Pippin upset about?...

Author Reply: Pippin is acting a bit strangely, isn't he? This is a stressful time for all of them, but some are handling it better than others. Thanks for reviewing, I'm glad you're still enjoying this.

Oh no - poor Sam! I liked your descriptions of all the herbal remedies (I wonder what's in those 2 bottles though???)

Author Reply: Poor Sam's having some problems isn't he? I'm glad you liked my descriptions of all the remedies, that makes writing them very rewarding. And do you know what? You're the first reader who seemed to notice the part about the two bottles.
