One Late-Summer Day  by Pearl Took 3 Review(s)
storyfishReviewed Chapter: Prologue on 1/10/2006
LOL! I happily followed your "shameless plug" in your reply to my review at Marigold's latest challenge (which was not really shameless at all, see, I love reading stuff I haven't yet) and instead of reading the stories you'd recommended to me about Ham and Bell, I got distracted by all the shiny story titles I hadn't seen before and now I'm sitting here giggling.....just what I needed on my lunch break!

Poor Pippin! But now all I can imagine is him hanging on that pole with birds on his arms and singing, "If I only had a brain!" Which is a priceless image. So I think I'll keep it, even at Pippin's expense. Heehee! ;-)

Author Reply: I'm so glad my wee tale brightened your day :) It was a Challenge story, though I don't remember which challenge, and at the challenge site someone else (I think Dreamflower) said the same thing - that it had her seeing Pippin hanging there singing "If I only had a brain!" It is an adorable image ;)

Thank you for looking up my other stories, I'm extremely honored. Thank you so much :) :)

What a horrid trick to pull on small Pippin. Hope Merry helps him get him and Ferdi back! Giggling here.

Author Reply: I know, the lad sets himself up for these things it seems ;) Thank you :)

Aw what a gentle and funny way to start the day - we can never predict all the consequences of our actions but as Merry said it is not usually a good idea to dare someone!

Author Reply: No, especially not when you're Peregrin Took :) Thank you for reading and responding.
