Are you enjoying all the power as an author? Yes, you do!
I'm suffering here! (nah! I'm enjoying this story very much!)
Well, Lothiriel must grow up from this... This are the consequences young lady! (that's sounds like Elphir!)
And Eomer... he it's going to be so sad... He should have broken that door down? Maybe, but I don't think so. This two are meant to be, but not yet! They must learn something from this... that's my POV.
Eomer have a clever sister, I'm sure that they will talk... and she can help his brother!
Let's see what's happen in this story...

Author Reply: Yes, it's rather nice to be omnipotent, even though it's only on paper (or rather in bytes).

You've summed up my own thoughts. Lothiriel has to face her feelings and Eomer will have that talk with his clever sister (in the next chapter in fact).

Greetings to Argentina

I finished reading and found myself pondering Elpir - he has less power over Lothiriel than one might think, since he didn't just drag her home from Minas Tirith himself. And he certainly was proud of her during the archery tournament, though I suppose he was caught up in the moment. But he has arrived in Emyn Arnen and Melian is pregnant... and he is more concerned about riding roughshod over his sister! Moron (excuse me). Well, perhaps that will slow them down. Or perhaps the bandits will. Not a nice thought, but I do like Eomer riding to the rescue again. After all, he did promise that he would protect her.

Author Reply: Hello Nilmandra,
Elphir probably does have his good points, but they are hard to spot. I did briefly consider having Lothiriel ambushed on the way to Minas Tirith, but decided that it would be too much of a coincidence, after all the Southrons were pretty much beaten last time we saw them. No, he should really have broken that door down!

Uh-oh. Oh dear!

Lothiriel upbraiding herself for acting like a slut--so she thinks.

Eomer probably upbraiding himself for nearly taking advantage of her--so he thinks.

And Elphir is an interfering prat.

Author Reply: That just about sums it up, doesn't it! It's amazing how people can missunderstand each other sometimes, especially when they are helped along by a sadistic author.

Oh dear. As if Lothiriel didn't have enough to worry about.

And Elphir does come over as a complete ... idiot. Starched shirt. Narrow-minded, rigid bigot. But still, I expect he has his good points. Don't know what they are, though. And judging from the letter, he inherited some of these characteristics from his father.

But I don't think it will be long before a certain King of Rohan sets off for a visit to the sea. Always provided, of course, that he evades the blades of the Southrons and returns undamaged to Emyn Arnen.

Author Reply: Hello Bodkin,
I believe every family needs a complete idiot, so I provided the Princes of Dol Amroth with one. Elphir is so nicely annoying, I rather like him.
As for Imrahil, we'll get to see his side of things quite soon. First Eomer is confronted with the news, though.
