Pearl's Pearls  by Pearl Took 8 Review(s)
LarnerReviewed Chapter: 16 on 8/17/2006
Yes, Farry has the right to know the truth of his heritage, child of her child that he is. She watched over his father during the quest, and will now watch over him.

Nice to see more of her.

Author Reply: Thank you, Larner! One can understand why the Tooks keep the Faerie blood a secret, but I do think those who have it need to understand why they are different. I'm glad you enjoyed having more of Culassisul :-)

Ai, more faeries! Love it! Wow.. who'd a thunk they had faery blood in them? Lovely sequal, very informative. Faramir is adorible!
God bless,
Ellie

Author Reply: Thank you so much, Ellie :) The dear Professor hinted that there was faerie blood in the Tooks and I've always loved the idea :)

Oh, I loved loved LOVED it! I just adore your interpretaion of the faerie bloodline. Will there be another? *whines* Thank you so very much, it just burns like the full moon or the morning sun...burns in a good way. The ending was perfection itself! *applauds*

Author Reply: Thank you thank you THANK YOU! My dear Pipkin :)

"it just burns like the full moon or the morning sun" wow! thank you :) so poetic :)

As I just wrote to GW - I'll happily write more when the muse sends it :)

Author Reply: Sorry, that was GT *embarrassed blushing*

Oh, I just love this. The bit where Pippin puts a thought into Faramir's mind was cute. Interesting how kids don't like getting back what thely dole out to others.

I just get all guishy excited when you write any story with the Took Sight or their Faerie heritage in it. You keep writing it, and I'll keep reading it. Yes?

Thanks

GT.

Author Reply: Thank you muchly, GW :) No, getting back what you dole out can be tough. That's why I'm carful about teasing and practical jokes - I don't take them well so I try not to do either.

I'm so glad you like my stories about the Took Faerie Blood. I'm feart of getting too spacy or not believable with it. When something stirs it in my fuzzy brain, I'll happily write more :)

Author Reply: Garnet, forgive me forgive me, please forgive me! I didn't look carefully enough and thought you were GW! Then, I was looking at the responses to this and saw hers and realized my error. I'm very sorry *much embarrassed blushing*

As I said - fuzzy brain.

If Faramir does this to his friends and family, it's not surprising the cousins were goading him about Tookish weirdness! (Mind you, brainwashing him into liking asparagus wouldn't be such a bad thing.) Effective way of helping him realise what he is doing, too.

And I love the idea of Faramir being part of the Faerie conspiracy of Tookishness. Beautifully poetic language ... Green fireworks filled in her eyes. Breezes blew through her golden-red hair and stirred the leaves at her feet. Cullassisul’s smile brought his own smile to Faramir’s face. The sort of wording that sends shivers down your spine.

Author Reply: Thank you so much, Bodkin :)

Yes, there had to be some reasons that the other hobbits felt "... there was still something not entirely hobbitlike about them..."

I'm so glad you enjoyed the descriptive passage about Cullassisul, I try to write passages about her in an older and more poetic style. I'm glad it shows and comes across well :)

So Faramir will now get his explanation! Would that someone with the answers would show up around here every time someone needed them. LOL Lovely as always.

Author Reply: Amen to that one! It is nice to know more about one's self.

Thank you so much, GW for all your support and encouragement :)

Awesome, Pearl! This is the perfect sequel to Faeries! I love how the Took Sight is passed down from Pippin to Faramir...and how Pippin helps Faramir to understand the gift. Gotta love Cullassisul, too! Beautiful.
