Pearl's Pearls  by Pearl Took 9 Review(s)
Hai TookReviewed Chapter: 41 on 10/3/2007
lol That was so cute! Thank you for the laugh it was more than welcome after a long day! An imaginary kitten? That would certainly get you into a lot of scraps! It was a lovely story!

Author Reply: Thank you so very much Hai! I'm glad I could brighten your day :-)

This was so sweet!!! Pippin is so adorably cute -- chasing after his imaginary kitten and thinking his loving mum could be so daft. Is this the same Blackie that Merry gave Pippin in an earlier story?

If you ask me, dear friend, I can't see where you're in a funk of sorts -- you're still going strong in my humble opinion. :-) Very well done!

PF

Author Reply: Thank you Pippinfan :-) And it is indeed the same Blackie, you get extra points! *applause*

Thank you, but prior to this I hadn't been able to write for nearly 3 weeks. I'm so relieved my dry spell seems to be over :-)

Poor Eglantine! But he really is an endearing imp!

Author Reply: I've noticed mother's seem to love their little trouble makers even though the dears prematurely age them :-D

Thank you so much harrowcat!

That was adorable. Yep, only Pippin could trip over an imaginary kitten, and run face first into a tree chasing it! Perhaps he'd be in less trouble if he had a real one...

...or perhaps not! 8-)

Author Reply: I don't think a real one would be quite as mad, but then again I should know better owning three cats myself :-)

So glad you liked it Dreamflower!

Ah, bless children and their imaginary friends, brothers, and pets! Blackie has quite the adventurous bent, and has led poor Pippin into so many scrapes in the space of such a short time! Heh!

Author Reply: Hehehe, yes, he does! Such a naughty wee kitten, or sort of a kitten.

Thank you Larner :-)

“You are quite correct Pippin. How did you come to fall into the puddle?”

“I tripped over Blackie.”

Another deep sigh escaped his mother’s lips.

LOL!!! So he tripped over an imaginary cat, did he? That's prizeless, Pearl! At least little Pippin has a vivid imagination. And an imaginary pet is always very useful when you need to find a culprit ;-)

No writer's funk to be found here! So, I think Golden was right: It worked!

Author Reply: Thank you very much Andrea :-) Imaginary pets can be very dangerous ;-)

I think it did too.

Pearl, this is precious! I do hope your writer's funk is much better now!
Cathleen

Author Reply: Thank you cathleen and so far it seems to be - I'm hoping it stays that way :-)

That was delightful and I truly think the Muse is back!!!

Author Reply: I'm glad you liked it Agape, and I think you're right :-)

She curled her fingers under his small chin and looked lovingly into his sparkling eyes. He was such an imp! But he was her imp. She gently kissed the tip of his slowly bruising nose.

Awwww. This is so sweet, Pearl.

Author Reply: Thank you shirebound :-)
