| And let me tell you about- about what? What did they get into? Do tell! Fluff isn't usually my cuppa tea but you write it so well I find myself - hesitantly - making a request! It would be lovely to see some Quarantined-verse fics detailing the more ordinary (or otherwise :) ) adventures the hobbits get into when Strider's not visiting (not that I don't love Estel). I'd especially love to read about what trouble Mer and Pip get into in the rambling halls of the Brandybucks and Tooks. Author Reply: Thanks, Eirinn, I'll put your request in my plot bunny file! I've been challenged with tendonitis of my wrists and hands for the past few years and so my writing has slowed down very much (and my tales have become shorter). But I still love writing about hobbits, and enjoy thinking about new tales. :) | |

| I'm not feeling all that great, waiting for pain meds to kick in and when I'm feeling like this, your name is one of three here at SoA I do a author search on. Baggins Babe and Larner are the other two BTW, anyway... How in the name of everything hobbity did I miss *this* at Christmas time!?! Or when I've been surfing for stories!?! Yikes...I must really be slipping or I'm losing it. Don't answer that one... ;o) This so sweet and fluffy!! I especially loved this... “A letter from your family?” Butterbur asked, warmed to see a rare smile on the Ranger’s face. “Yes,” Aragorn said softly. “It’s good to hear from our loved ones at Yule, if we can’t be with them,” Butterbur said, setting down a plate of hot, savory stew, fresh bread, and a mug of ale in front of the Ranger. “Will you be seeing them soon?” “I very much hope so,” Aragorn smiled. He re-folded the letter, and slipped it into his pocket to read more fully later that evening. “I miss them very much, and my visits are always... quite eventful!” He laughed and reached for the bread. “Thank you, my friend. Happy Yule.” “Happy Yule, Strider.” I certainly hope to see another visit to this lovely universe and soon. Maybe a combined visit of the honourary Baggins and honourary Brandybucks w/a lot of wee Pip mixed in. Hmmm? Please!?! Meanwhile...This was lovely and so right for a Yuletide story. BTW, I also owe you a review of your Halloween story. That was priceless as well. In my own defence, my birthday is the day before Halloween, so I was slightly busy at the time, but I have read it since. Just haven't sent the review and it's not happening tonight either. Can't wait for the next installment of Shelter. This was a fantastic little story Shirebound. I know you have a lot going on in RL, and if anything I write can bring a smile or some happiness to you, it just makes me glow with joy. I've actually had an idea for another story in the Quarantined 'universe' for quite awhile, but I just can't get it to come together. What I've really needed is just time to think and plan and get the plot to make sense in my head, but time is such a precious and rare commodity in the spring, due to work pressures. I promise to do my best to get started on it! *hugs you* | |
