I'm glad to find yet another of your lovely stories. I was wondering what wedding custom you would use! Is Carol your sister or something?

Author Reply: Thank you, MJ! Carol is my sister-in-law, and a very gifted singer/songwriter.

Aww! What a sweet, hobbity thing to do! Something old, something new, something borrowed, and something blue-I like that. :-) And what a beautiful, moving song! God bless,
Galadriel

Author Reply: Thank you so much. Ah, these inventive and affectionate hobbits -- I just can't resist them!

You wrote that beautiful song? Wow! *bows humbly in awe of your talent*

What a wonderful story! I love it when the hobbits bestow gifts upon others or show people a Shire custom. This was really great. :D

Author Reply: Thank you, Anso! That song was a co-production between my sister-in-law (who began it) and me (who finished it).

Oh, so lovely! And each gift so perfectly suited to the giver. Especially Pippin's song! My dear, I knew you were talented, but had no idea you were such a gifted poet, too! Sweet, sweet story, and thank you for sharing your gifts! :-)

Author Reply: Thank you so much! What a joy to share this happy, hobbity story.

What a wonderful story. It was great of the hobbits to think that Aragorn's and Arwin's marriage must start off right. The presents they got great, thoughtful and I love the recipes one.

Author Reply: Thank you, Grumpy! This was wonderfully fun to write.

Beautiful. Those hobbits are so sweet. Truly a touching story. I almost cried when Frodo presented Gilraen's recipe's for "something borrowed". A wonderful fic and I truly enjoyed it.

Author Reply: Thank you so much. I'm happy this touched you so, and really appreciate your kind words.

This was a delightful story, Shirebound. How sweet of the hobbits to want Aragorn and Arwen's marriage to get off on the right foot, and what perfectly suitable gifts. The bird feeder was especially beautiful and Pippin's song was wonderful.

A wonderfully happy, hobbity story which made my day.

Author Reply: Thank you, BB! What a challenge it was, to match each gift to the giver. I'm so happy they seem appropriate. Nothing can stop this marriage, now!

"Oh I know the reason that bird can sing --
In his darkest hour, he believes in spring."

That song is really gorgeous!

Aragorn should not have feared, they spent all their money, for these presents have a greater value. They come directly from the heart :)

Author Reply: Thank you! That particular lyric you highlighted was written by my amazing sister-in-law many years ago. Those are my two favorite lines in the song, too!

Indeed, gifts from the heart truly mean the most.
