| What an incredible gapfiller! And what a ride you gave us here Space. I remember reading in the appendices those lines a while ago. I am amazed how you can take these words written by Tolkien in the appendicws and make Eärnur a living, ass-kicking king to me that fights himself to death. Your Witchking is just.... brrr, I know you state at the beginning of this short story that you don't have to read your Witchking story, but I do want to read it now! An eerie and vailant story that had to be told. Excellent work! | |

| Glad to see you back at SoA, Space. :-) This is a great story. I have always wished someone (who knew the characters better than I) would write the story of the Witch King's battle with Eärnur. You really do the Witch King well and he was excellent here. And I really liked how you started this out with Faramir scouting around for prisoners to rescue and finding Eärnur's remains. The description of the environment at the end of the Witch King's occupation coupled with the story of the fight that took place at its beginning was really clever. Well done!
