What an interesting relationship - an Olorin with the wisdom of ages, yet the innocence of a new-born and a Glorfindel who is remade and uncertain of what is asked of him. I love the atmosphere you convey of an idyllic Blessed Realm - and the way you touch on the passage of time.

A very neat twist to the idea that Glorfindel was a companion of Olorin, but that he taught Olorin of life in Middle-earth, to aid Olorin in his quest there.

The opening sentence was inspired. I love the way you suck us right into this world and Glorfindels' experiences. I fell in love with Olorin as you portrayed him in A Fair Green Country and was so excited to see him in that guise again. There's a wonderful, fragile combination of wisdom and innocence in him that's absolutely captivating. And the interplay between him and Glorfindel was wonderfully played. I really enjoyed this.

Another character you do really well is Gandalf before he was Gandalf. I like how he learns from the elves both in this and your story about his "love." And I have always liked explorations of why Glorfindel was sent back, so this was very interesting to me. I like the idea of these two meeting and learning from one another. And it poses an interesting question about how they would have then interacted when they first met again in Imladris or Mithlond--maybe you could add a chapter with that meeting. Cool story, Space. Author Reply: That is a good idea actually (bunnies are jumping). As Gandalf's appearance was so different and very few knew who he really was, but Glorfindel would know...hmnn, interesting...
