| Does one need to beware of Brandybucks bearing Brandy, I wonder? Heh! Yes, Frodo has his cousins as pegged as they have him, apparently. Lovely thought, Frodo and the hedgehogs found in the cupboard, and the fish in the cellar. Poor Frodo! Author Reply: Yes, poor Frodo! It was worth a try to confront Frodo with all those ruined buildings, although it was a fruitless effort. Merry seems to have everything under control: “Let them have their own plans,” Merry said at last. “We have ours. Gandalf loves Frodo, of course, but we know what’s best for him.” Very Merry, indeed - and he's absolutely right :) Author Reply: Merry always has things under control, doesn't he? He spent enough years waiting and watching Frodo that I'm sure he was glad to finally have some way to take control over the situation. And of course he and Pippin think they know best where Frodo is concerned - poor Frodo doesn't get a say in the matter! I'm glad you enjoyed this, Andrea. Thank you! :) | |

| This is so precious. So precious. Sorry i missed this earlier but omg, i so love this. Pippin smirked at the bottle of Buckland Brandy in Merry’s hand. “Trying to make amends, cousin? Or are you just trying to get Frodo so drunk that he forgets everything?” LOL you are awesome. I love the fact that they were showing Frodo awful houses at first--quite hilarious...and we get a little bit of the conspiracy already in this story and i really appreciated that. This is one of my favorite stories from you...::adding it to my favorite list:: full of gentle hobbityness, love and care fro Frodo and yes, omg Merry and Pippin goodness as well. :D ::squees:: you're awesome. :) ::hugglesyou:: Author Reply: I love Conspiracy-fics and I love cousin-fics so much. I had an absoulutely wonderful time writing this, just from planning what sorts of horrible things Frodo would find in the homes and how Merry and Pippin were making plans and looking after Frodo.
