I am inches away from crying. INCHES! This is a beautiful little story, you know?

Just browsing and came across this gem Clever Hobbit. Don't know how I missed it except it seems to have been posted around Christmas when I would have been at my parents and virtually internetless! Just had to pop in and say well done - albeit rather late.

What a very sweet story. I'm not usually one for hobbity tales, but little Elanor in this was perfect, exactly as I imagine a hobbit child. I like stories where Maglor pops up too - always singing, of course! - and their meeting was a welcome encounter for both of them. Jay Author Reply: Thanks for reading my hobbity tale, then! :)

What a nice story. I like how you present how hobbits might exist in modern times, as Professor Tolkien suggested. And Maglor's appearance certainly was a surprise. Author Reply: I always like to wonder about hobbits and Elves and such in our time. 'Tis great fun. :)

Indeed a sweet story. Elanor, she was named. Glad the memories are still being kept, even if they aren't full ones any more. And the meeting with Maglor was gently touching. Author Reply: I figured that hobbits would keep memories like that, like the phrase "When the King returns" and so on. Thanks for reading!
