Heehee.... So random. :-) Yes, definitely gives him something to do... Author Reply: Three cheers for random silliness!

What a lovely piece of fluff (and down!) shirebound! I really enjoyed it! Author Reply: Yes, I think this is more down than fluff! I'm so glad you enjoyed this.

Awww! I'm not usually one for fluff, but this was very cute and a nice read for sleepy eyes. Thank you SB! Author Reply: Don't think of it as fluff. Think of it as... a goose down comforter! *tucks you in and sends hobbits to sing you to sleeeeep* :D

Right, first off I have an urgent need to be a pain in the posterior and point out that a daddy goose is, technically speaking, a gander if you're just talking about him or him and his mate bob, phil, or strider. And now that's out of the way... Where do you get these wonderful ideas, woman? this was lovely, wonderful, beautiful and great comfort for a poorly soul at lunchtime. :D Gaya xxx Author Reply: I think Sam was kind enough not to bother Frodo with the details of goose-dom (and I had no idea, LOL). :D Thank you! I'm afraid if I delve too deeply into where all this fluff is coming from, it might dry up. Best not to know...

Oh! Thanks, Shirebound. I'm just a little melted puddle now! This was so lovely - Frodo happy, Sam and Gandalf, and a lot of geese! You've made this hobbit fan-girl very happy! Author Reply: Eeee, everyone's happy! I'm so glad. :D

LOL! Awww! Oh, I wish it was longer! A perfectly delightful little story, Shirebound! And I'm so glad Frodo gets to learn the joys of perenthood! "Lobelia! Strider! Get away from there!" LOL! Love it! Sounds just like my mom fussing at my little siblings. :-) God bless, Galadriel Author Reply: Thank you! I love showing Frodo doing the "fussing" for a change, and secretly enjoying every moment of it.

"Don't let that grumblin' fool you, Gandalf," Sam grinned at the wizard. "Mr. Frodo loves fussing over 'em all." LOL!!! And that's what represents "Paradise" for Frodo. Without someone (or something) beloved to fuss over, to care for and to some extent worry about, like cousins, friends AND geese, he just wouldn't be content :) Author Reply: I agree! These geese will be the children he never had to fuss over. :D

Six geese a laying. And many more than that a nudging, a poking and a begging! Charming little piece. What does one do in Paradise? Taking care of someone who needs you can make you happy no matter where you are. Very sweet! Author Reply: Thank you! Yes, I suspect that 'paradise' is about to get very busy -- and ever happier -- for our dear hobbits.

Aw! 'Happy sigh and lots of gigles!* BTW - I was just re-reading 'the Island' and I thought that I would tell you here. We have just had the last episode of series one of LOST here in England. I remember reading avidly but was rather surprised to note that I only reviewed once. Shame on me! Re-reading was great as I was able to spot a lot more of the show's links. Any how, I just wanted to pop in and say how much I enjoyed it! Author Reply: I'm so glad you had fun with this bit o' fluff. And it's great to hear that you enjoyed re-reading "The Island"! It was fun writing it, and I agree that seeing Season One of "Lost" would enable a reader to uncover a lot more detail in the story. :D
