| *giggles* I love it! One very rarely finds good Merry/Estella fics.....very rarely. In fact, that's the first one I've ever read. *laughs* But I love the idea of them knowing each other as children and teens and getting glimpses of them grown-up and married. Plus, mommy-to-be Estella and daddy-to-be Merry just make me melt into a little puddle, naturally. The added twist of Merry having a previous relationship adds a sort of...I don't know, bittersweet feeling to everything Merry and Stella share. It's like maybe she worries about what he thinks whenever he thinks about Pendora and he spends most of the beginning of their relationship proving to her that she's the only lass in his life, now and forever. Or maybe that's just me. ^.^ Oh, this is nazgilly21 from LJ, by the way. *laughs* Author Reply: Glad to have given you a giggle :) I've always 'cooed' at the thought of Merry and Estella as playmates and growing up together. I think it makes their relationship more special that they've been through some tough times together, and yet they were still able to 'fall in love' :) It's totally not just you.
