| I saw this at the Challenge but had no time to read it until now. Nicely done. I like the touches of tradition, the ponies' holiday treats, the scent of the peppermint candles, the picture of Brandy Hall's round golden eyes looking out into the night, the yearning of a father's heart. Author Reply: I'm glad you had time to read it now! I thought it would be important for the families to continue with their holiday traditions because being hobbits, they would try to get on with life as best they could even though they were so distraught with worry for their sons. | |
