Oh poor Pippin! I can definitely imagine that the hobbits would have suffered from frostbite. Caradhras must have been so difficult for them. It's good to see him get the care he needs, and I really liked Merry's generosity of offering up his scarf. Author Reply: Glad you liked it. Thanks for the review

Poor Pippin! This is a very good start to what promises to be a very good story. Do continue and share with the rest of us. I am already hooked. :-) Author Reply: Thanks for the review.

[...] as the young hobbit had quite a bit of pride and didn't want to ask for help. That's certainly true, and not only for Pippin! I wonder how much persuasion it took the rest of the Fellowship to make the hobbits wear boots, though ;-) Author Reply: Thank you for the comment.

Aw poor Pippin. The thought of three hobbits trying to peer over Strider's shoulder gave me a grin though! Author Reply: Thanks for the review.

Aw, poor Pip! Caradhras had to have been dreadful for our lads! The idea that one or more of them might have suffered frostbite had occured to me--I'm glad to see it in a fic! Author Reply: Thanks for the review.

Poor lad. It's not a pleasant experience, although I've known only the mildest forms of it. Author Reply: Thank you for the comment.

[...] it went against my instincts and training to leave anyone in unnecessary pain when I have a chance to try and help, especially someone who was becoming a friend. That's Aragorn in "healer mode" as we love him! I like Dreamflower's word creations :) Frodo was the first one to begin to trust Strider. Maybe, this little episode helped the others to overcome their suspicions. Author Reply: Thanks for the wonderful review. Glad you liked the story.

And here we get to see Aragorn in healer mode, something I always love. I really like the realism of this, especially his observation that travelling through the marshes might have softened the hobbits' feet up. Very well done' Author Reply: Thanks for the review.

Ah, burrs, stickers, brambles--all a hazard to a race with furry feet that habitually goes barefoot! I like seeing this from Strider's POV. He's going to be interested for several reasons: as an observation on hobbits in general, as a healer who might have to deal with the aftermath if it got too bad, and as their guide, who might have to watch out for anything that would slow them down. Very sweet the way Sam insisted on taking care of Bill first. The discriptions in this are wonderful.
