Love Letters  by Antane 4 Review(s)

Finding the fulfillment again is difficult, but includes just this form of remembrance. Was thinking of my own ones gone from me while I read this, and found Tony sitting on his side of the bed, and Mom petting the poms.

'I remember you rushing over to my home and nearly pulling my arm off, you were so anxious to get started, but you remembered your manners in time to ask if I could come out.'

Wow, sounds like somethin' I'd do, lol. I could very well imagin Frodo being excited over a new book and can't wait to tell Sam 'bout it.

'Mr. Merry had said you weren’t truly gone if we remembered all the places you had been and the memories we had of you there.'

*sigh* So true. As long as one remembers the places another was is gone was, they are never really gone.

Oh this was a treat to find two chapters posted since I last had a chance to check Antane. And two very different feels to them.
To forgive yourself is the hardest of things even though others have also failed. I like how Elrond is helping from his own personal experience.
And to de-discover Frodo through the places he loved is wonderful.

Very sweet. Going back to the old places or even looking at the departed loved one's things has always been the hardest part for me when I'm grieving, but it's so healing to. I'm glad Sam, Merry, and Pippin could experience that.
God bless,
Galadriel
