Love Letters  by Antane 4 Review(s)

Welcome back! ^_^

Wow, twelve children. No offense to either Sam or Rose, but how in the world do you keep up with so many little ones? But, just from what I've read, I guess it's all worth while in the end, right?

Author Reply: Hannon le! Good to be back. All those children are definitely worth it I'm sure! My sister has eight (seven here, one in heaven) and I don't know how she does it either but she does! :)

Namarie, God bless, Antane :)

Author Reply: Hannon le, my dear Frodo! I didn't even know you were reading this - didn't I lose you somewhere in The Lucky One being the busy bee you are? I'm so glad you are enjoying!

Namarie, God bless, Antane :)

I believe that this is one of those stories that you don't truly realise how much you've missed until you can read more of it. :) This is my favourite paragraph:

I spend a lot of time imaging what it would have been like for you. Perhaps with all the distractions of so many lads and lasses, the Ring couldn’t have
hurt you so bad, but it’s no use thinking of that. You are happy where you are and I am happy that you are happy. I feel in so many ways that you haven’t
really left at all, that you could be just in the next room, where I can’t see you with my eyes, but I know you are there. I feel you so strongly in my
heart, it is there that I see you. You are always smiling and laughing and you dance a lot. You are writing and reading and enjoying all the things we
always enjoyed here - walks through woods, a smoke on the stoop, so many other things. I can still get lost in the middle of the living room, in the midst
of lads and lasses all running around shrieking in childhood joy, and see only you. Rose tells me that I have this smile and peace to me then that I only
have otherwise when I look at her or the children and she knows I am looking at you, another treasured no less than her or all the blessings we have.

I feel like I keep repeating myself, but it's *so* wonderful to see Frodo healed and happy and rejoicing in being "Uncle Frodo" even from so far away, and Sam as a father is just precious! (No pun intended by the word. :)) I wish I could put my finger on what is so beautiful about this whole series, but I can't. A sort of innocence in spite of everything is as near as I can come. Beautiful chapter! I can hardly wait till the reunion!
God bless,
Galadriel

Author Reply: Hannon le, my dear! I think you are exactly right about the innocence - Frodo's returning to where he was before the Ring. I can't wait for the reunion either! :)
