"It was a Hero." Wonderful!! I love ST's star stories and didn't realize you had gone there to play as well. Wonderful!!

These are lovely! It's very nice for Slightly Tookish that you are so avidly invested in her universe that you write such delightful pieces for her.

Well shoot - you made me cry! I love Slightly Tookish's Star stories, and this was a delightful addition (even *with* the tears!). Of course Pip would have told his mother about his stars, and what a wonderful way for her to keep connected to him throughout his Adventure. How terrifying however when the stars were dimming and threatening to go out, and then disappeared! And then when her Hero came.... darn it - here come the tears again! Very very sweet - I loved these. Thank you!

*sigh* I just re-read this story. It's even more beautiful than I remembered it. Your Eglantine is beautiful, and that last bit is so gorgeous, it still brings tears to my eyes. Thank you so much again for writing this. I love it to pieces. *hugs*

I love the link between Eglantine and the stars - and her unwitting recognition of the link between them and Pippin's wellbeing. And the return of the Shining Hero. What a moment of joy for her. Author Reply: Thank you for reviewing! Yes, that is it exactly - Eglantine just has a *feeling* that the stars are actually connected to her Pippin's wellbeing in some way, but she doesn't really understand how that can be so...she is just sure that it *is*... And I can just see her face when she sees her lad come home already a real Hero, and about to become an even greater one : ) Thanks again!

Oh, Marigold this is so beautiful. The thought that the stars echo Pippin's life and spirit is wonderful. What beacons for his parents! Author Reply: Thank you so much! I really think that as Gandalf gifted him these stars that they are now connected with his lifeforce in some way. I liked the idea that they reflected what he was going through, and that his parents could get a sense of that through watching them, whether they understood it or not...

Hi MarigoldG, I really enjoyed reading these! Especially the last, it gave me a big smile to learn that Eglantine's Hero had returned. ;-) - Barbara Author Reply: Thank you Barbara! I am so glad that you enjoyed them!

That was beautiful! I like the "Star Universe" very much and your story fits in perfectly. Like in "The Lord of the Rings" where Pippin looked at the moon over Minas Tirith and wondered if Frodo was watching it, too, Eglantine found comfort in the presence of Pippin's very special stars - a mental connection between her and her son. And the stars reflected Pippin's feelings until he suddenly was there again. They needed a Hero or two, such as in the old tales, but Heroes were naught but fancy And then the Hero stood before her, her own Pippin :) Author Reply: Thank you Andrea! I think ST's "Star Universe" is wonderful! I am glad that you think my story fits : ) I like the idea that as the stars are *his* that they are connected to him in some way... Thank you again!
