Ah, good job! It was a good story, and I like how you took advantage of the fact that Elwing as a white bird was the seagull. I knew there was something familiar about the bird! At first, I just thought that the seagull that went to Cirdan was just a regular one, one who would visit him because he had been close to the sea for so long. But, the ending truly was fantastic. I could never have known to put Elwing in there if I had written this story myself! Ah--I just can't explain how I felt when I read your last sentence. It was a--uh, undescribable feeling, as I realize that the seagull was Elwing instead of some ordinary one. Maybe that explains its constant return to the shipwright. Thanks for the great story! ;) -Lady Saruman ^_^ Author Reply: Aww thanks for such a great review! I was really hoping the bird's identity would be a surprise! I'm very glad you liked it. :)

Tuxedo Elf, Lairewen, oh.. person? :-) That was wonderful. I really truly didn't see the ending coming. Made me kinda gasp a little. Really really lovely. Thanks for sharing it with us. Rivergirl Author Reply: Thanks Rivergirl! I saw trying to make the bird's indentity a surprise, so I'm pleased that it worked! Glad you liked it! And just 'Tux' is fine. LOL.

This was lovely, even though, as you say, AU, as she would have been in Aman. I loved the evident friendship between them and the faithful love she has for the Mariner--Earendil. Thank you for this. Alassiel Author Reply: Yes, I was wondering if I could skirt the AU issue by having her fly from Aman to the Havens... but I know it's a bit of a leap, so I thought AU was safer! Thank you, I'm glad you liked it... I can see Cirdan being her friend when Earendil was away. Ooh, plot bunny! Thanks!
