| This is the first story of yours I've read IceAngel. I'm glad I did; this was wonderful! I was especially taken with your interpretation of Faramir, allowing the young man to find his mettle and allowing us, the readers, to see glimpses of what he will be some time in the future. I was saddened to see Gandalf remain silent, but then, he most likely already knew it would not improve things for the young man. I also liked the descriptions you employed; difficult to really describe a cave, or series of them, our minds get lost in the twists and turns; you left it mostly up to us with but a few choice words and that worked out very nicely. I look forward to the next read (1/2 way thru In His Stead as I write this). | |

| I just found this site and can't believe this story has not been reviewed. It's well written, and more importantly, easy to read. It has both excitement and portrays the brothers love for each other really well. Author Reply: thanks heaps. It was more popular on ff.net when I posted installments.
