| LOL! Spaghetti does resemble long worms, doesn't it. I remeber as a child going to some haunted Halloween party at school, where there were labeled containers hidden from view that you stuck your hand into. The one labelled 'brains' was really cold spaghetti. Unlike many of your other reviews, I'm going to have to fight Frodo for the mushrooms, or hope that he will share. I love mushrooms and at one of my favorite Italian restaurants (there are sooo many to choose from where I live) there is a dish that serves Farfalle in an Asagio cream sauce with FOUR different kinds of 'shrooms!! Eat your heart our Frodo!! This was great! I'm trying to take a gander at Shirebound's pizza challenge myself. Author Reply: Lol! I'm sure my parents pulled something like that at a Halloween party when I was a kid too! (the one I remember though was a banana, and they wouldn't tell us what it was supposed to be!) I'm sure Frodo will share with you...maybe. I only like raw mushrooms, like the ones you get on veggie trays, with lots of Ranch dip. But Italian food sounds really good right now... | Merry never could turn down a challenge from his younger cousin. He glanced down at the plate, then took one small hesitant bite. That's so very true! I enjoyed this little story very much. | *giggling* Oh, Ellie, this is the best yet! I just love it! Hobbits introduced to pasta. Cool! It was so hilarious the way they reacted and so perfectly in character! Of course Pip would be the first to try it. This was just what I needed--I'd been crying my eyes out over Larner's Reunion, and now I wonder if I'll stop laughing.
