My Sword Sings - Book One - 'My Sword' Series  by Agape4Gondor 2 Review(s)

You already know, perhaps, of my weakness for Aragorn; and so I had so hoped he was behind the rescues. How I could have forgotten Theoden out there waiting for something to happen I can't imagine; but am so glad Faramir is safe and Ragnild is safe and Imrahil is on his way and knows better than she how it is necessary to have a good force in hand when facing someone like Amandil. And the sooner the fool is taken care of the better.

A nice look at Theoden in father-mode, which is what Faramir, who has been through too much for any six-year-old, needs right now (though his greatest need is for Boromir).

If Faramir's ankle was sprained, as the unfortunate leech diagnosed, then he won't be putting weight on it for several weeks.

Author Reply: Hi, Raksha!

I was concerned about that too - but I sprained my ankle quite badly when I was young and still managed to hobble around - you can't keep a kid down.

Besides that - there is a thing called adrenalin that I think has kicked in for poor Faramir - too much happening and no time to even notice his little body. Except for his shoulder... which I think could be a broken collar bone. In fact, pretty sure it is! Poor little thing.

DRAT.........
