A nice piece Misty. I don't think that I have seen this particular moment written like this anywhere. I was intrigued when you paired Elrond with Aragorn rather than Galadriel and Gandalf but I think that you are right. Author Reply: Thanks. Since Frodo never actually offered the ring to either Elrond or Aragorn, I put the two of them together, separate from Galadriel and Gandalf. I'm glad you liked it.

Mmm, this was good. So many things led to Frodos leaving, and yet it all came down to one. Danger, Gandalfs death,Galadriels words, and of coarse Boromirs moment of..(Yes of coarse it wasnt all his fault, but I thought he acted alot like his crazed Father, the (ahem) stewered of Gondor. Glad it did not catch on with Faramir.) Poor man. And poor hobbit of coarse! He was coming to realize the true danger of the ring. But still, what would he have done without Sam? :) All is well that ends well! (Save that I did not have a big, happy smile on my face at the end of the movies or the books. It was tears & sighs.) -I liked the way you wrote about this moment in Frodos leave. Good Job! God bless! ~Arwen Author Reply: I know that Frodo didn't blame Boromir for his momentary madness, so I made sure to show that in the story. But yes, that would have been the deciding factor. He already knew what he had to do, but Boromir succumbing to the ring's influence made his decision for him. I, too, am glad that Sam decided not to let Frodo continue on without him. He wouldn't have made it through to the end without his friend at his side.
