I know I already commented on this on lj, but I had to read it again! This is my favourite line: "We thanksss you, Professor. For creating the preciousss," said Gollum, straightening the "happy birthday" hat atop his head. LOL! Gollum in a party hat! God bless, Galadriel Author Reply: I'm rather fond of that line myself. Thanks for taking the time to post a review again!

LOL! Oh, this story looked so like being a tear-jerker, and I'm left laughing! Poor Merry! :) God bless, Galadriel Author Reply: I honestly feel sorry for Merry, always being left behind. However, I just couldn't resist this little bit of fun!

Oh wow. Incredible. Incredibly angsty, incredibly powerful. God bless, Galadriel Author Reply: Frodo's entire life was pretty incredible and certainly gives lots of rooom for writing angst. Thanks for reviewing!

What a reason to find for why he's always the one left behind or that they wish he'd been left behind! Hehehehehehe! That ending was a surprise, and a lovely one. Author Reply: I don't think Merry would agree with you that the ending was a lovely one, but I sure had fun with it! lol!

Yes, all appears lost, and yet he was redeemed and relieved in the end, and found his own end surrounded no longer by molten rock but by love. Poignant. Author Reply: What a beautiful review - thank you.

LOL! Very funny! I have to admit, I was reminded of a certain deodorant commercial, dimly remembered. And also the phrase, "Was it something I said?" Author Reply: Hmm... I think I missed that commercial, but it certainly sounds like the same idea!

Lol! I thought this was going to be sad and angsty-so the conclusion came as a bit of a shock! Author Reply: Oh, excellent! That's just what I meant to do!

Absolutely angsty! It's interesting how often Frodo lost that which he loved in such a manner--I'd not quite thought of it that way before! Good job! Author Reply: It is rather angsty, isn't it? Fortunately, Frodo did not really lose Gandalf when Gandalf tumbled into the abyss with the Balrog, but Frodo of course didn't know that until after he woke up at Cormallen.
