Just what they need--more orcs! But if these somehow manage to clear the way and then get tidily killed....

"Nothing much" ... hmm, Elladan is nothing if not the king of the understatement. But what will they do now that Orcs are again at the door?? Yikes.

Another Yikes! I shouldn't be surprised I suppose... but at least these yikes are because the tale is well-written and not redundant... Nice job!

I just love In Charge Elladan. You just can't help but feel everything is going to be all right once he shows up and takes over and starts ordering everyone around. Although I can't even begin to imagine how they're going to climb out of there with Elrohir having a broken leg. And Estel can't climb like Spiderman, either. And now, more orcs! Yay.

Author Reply: In Charge Elladan. It's a lovely image, isn't it? Although Elrohir's my favourite twin, I just love Elladan here!

Somehow it is reassuring to have the twins banter and Elrohir complaining about his medicine. That's more like them, even if their situation is rather desperate. And I am glad Elladan got to apologise to Estel and to reassure him how well he has done.

The way how Elladan got there sounds horrible. Climbing through the cave, when the orcs only have to look up to spy him, and then to have to find the right tunnel first? That was truly a last, desperate try, wasn't it? Well, it brought him to his destination, but of course Elrohir can't escape the same way, and I doubt Estel could, either.

Uh, orcs *once again*? Really, these mines are *infested* with them! Can't they leave the twins and Estel be??

You know, the one advantage of reading this so late is not to have to wait for the next chapter until I have catched up *runs away to the next*

Author Reply: All three of them are relieved to be back together again. And of course, being male, they show that relief by joking. Elladan isn't going to reveal quite how bad his search was for a long time.

The thing is, the orcs don't really know that E3 are there - not yet. It's just very, very bad luck. Perhaps their luck is about to change ...

No time for more than 'great chapter'. I caught up with your story last night. Very exciting and different. I enjoy seeing stories that feature Estel and the twins in a brotherly relationship and you've filled the bill nicely.

Author Reply: The twins are my favourite characters, but I've only written them with Estel a couple of times. I think they would have been wonderful big brothers to little Estel - but now the time has come for him to put their training to good use, and prove his skills.

Glad you're enjoying this - thanks for reviewing!

Love it!

Elrohir is hurt and irritated, and wants to heal himself, if that is a possibility. But the orc's are going to shift the rocks, they need to think fast...

Update soon, can't wait...

Author Reply: Poor Elrohir knows it's his injuries that are holding the others back. He wants to do something - and it needs to be fast.

The next chapter is up now, so you can find out what happens next!

Oh, oh, they are out of time, I don't suppose they could build a wall real quick, or find a handy elevator to get Elrohir a lift. Glad that Elladan and Estel got to have their little talk.

Author Reply: That's two things they could try I suppose - but I don't think the orcs will wait that long. What else? (I know, but I'm not telling!)

Elladan felt badly about how he'd treated Estel, and after the roof collapse, when he didn't know if Estel was alive or dead, he felt far worse! At least he can admit when he's in the wrong.

I'm so glad that Elladan and Estel are making up. If something horrible had happened while they were at odds, they never would have gotten over it. Its nice seeing what Aragorn was referring to when he said the memory of Moria was very evil. That is certainly proving to be true. I'm sure it is getting more evil yet.

Author Reply: Poor Elladan felt very guilty about yelling at Estel. It's a wise elf who can admit he was wrong!

They're all going to have some bad memories of Moria - and they're not out yet!

O boy, this does not look good. Elrohir wounded like that, not much to eat and drink, no easy way to leave the cave and orcs trying to dig through the rubble.
You wrote a very nasty clifhanger so please update soon.

Author Reply: I have to admit to liking cliffhangers ;)

Despite their rather desperate situation, don't forget that all three are brave, resourceful and skilled - even Elrohir, despite his injuries. Don't despair yet!
