| Larner, that's very useful, thank you! Though I think you should put a hint at the character list in the summary, too. I am sure it would be even more important for most of your readers than the timeline, as your cast of characters is quite huge. Author Reply: Oh, that's what the next few chapters are, Kitty--my cast of characters and where they fit in with various stories and collections. Heh! I'm still posting just the Hobbits so far, although I have a LOT more to finish up. | |

| I've done a chronology (which I badly need to update) but it never occurred to me to divide it up by chapters! And I put it on my bio page rather than as a "story". This is really an interesting way to do it--and I see a few that I've not read yet, so I will definitely have to get a chance to! Author Reply: I tried putting it on my bio page, but I am still uncertain how on this site to effect line breaks and paragraph breaks; and so it ended up as a separate "work," one which will bear frequent updates, I fear. Which ones haven't you read? I thought you were pretty much caught up on them. Do you think I should put a special designation for those appearing in "Moments in Time"? | |

| Well done Larner. This will be useful. Were you surprised to find that you haven't touch the period of the Two Towers? - yet! Author Reply: No, I wasn't surprised to see nothing particularly in the time period of The Two Towers, but then most of that time is pretty well covered in the books. Do have a couple bunnies dealing with Ents, but am not certain whether one of those is during the quest or not. It's not very well developed as yet, though. | |

But this was asked for by a friend, and so I sought to offer it to her that she might have an easier time of it. | |

| Thank you for that; one day, when I've gotten through them all at least twice, I'll try to read them in order. Wow! I cringe at the thought of trying to organize a chronology at this point, and you've got a timeline that jumps between stories. God bless, Galadriel Author Reply: In some ways I admit to being somewhat anally retentive. Breaking up the stories was perhaps more than needed to be done, I suppose. Glad you find it useful. As I add more stories of course this will need constant editing. | |
