The Adventures of Jo and Little Frodo  by Elanor Silmariën 9 Review(s)
Queen GaladrielReviewed Chapter: 3 on 10/14/2006
Aww, I love Sam comforting sweet little Frodo!

And goodness gracious, what will the little rascals get into next. It's a good thing Jo is as good humoured as she is. If I were her, I don't know if I would have come back after what happened the first time. LOL!
God bless,
Galadriel

Author Reply: Lol! Yeah, they are very energetic. I wonder myself what'll happen next... Most of the babysitting stuff comes from Goldberry's experiences. Lol! She's got plenty of stories to choose from! Glad you're liking, mellon nin!
God bless,
Ellie

Sorry if you just got a non-review there - pressed the wrong button. :( This is a most interesting bond that the Frodos have - I think in the beginning it would break Sam's heart to know that his treasure is still sad and in pain, but then I assume he'll also know when he's healed and happy again. I would be a little jealous but grateful that there is that bond.

Namarie, God bless, Antane :)

Author Reply: I think Sam would be glad of it after a while. Goldberry thought it was a bit strange when i presented the idea to her. *grins* I have a weird imagination...
Thanks for reviewing!
God bless,
Ellie

Poor Frodo - both of them, but neat that there is that bond.

Namarie, God bless, Antane :)

Author Reply: Glad you like it! My friend Goldberry thought it was a little weird when we started. It was my wild imagination running away with me again! Thanks for reviewing!
God bless,
Ellie

Author Reply: Glad to see you stopped by even though you've already read it! I'll probably be posting what we have of this soon, because Little Frodo has been at me all day to get it posted!!

Hey!
I must say that I like this story, It is rather good if I do say so my self.
I think that we should right more. And for all of you people that read Elenor's stories, this story was based on real events (many of which I was a part of)
And I hope that little Frodo is doing better.
Oh and i'm realy glad that you can up with this idea, Ellie, thanks for letting me write it with you.

see you tomorrow,

God bless,

Goldberry

P.S. do you think that the syrup came in a pint?

Author Reply: Yes, it is a good story, isn't it? Though once I came up with the main idea, the rest was really yours. I am honored to be writing it with you, dear! I'll see you tomorrow, well, really today, ahh!
God bless,
Ellie
P.S. IF IT CAME IN PINTS I WANT SOME!!!!!

Queen GaladrielReviewed Chapter: 1 on 5/6/2006
Oh dear me! Poor Jo! :) Nothing like cleaning up a whole lot of spilled syrup, dealing with two rambunctious children and a crying baby, and trying to keep some semblance of order all at the same time, is there? Oh, dear, six is not a fun age for anyone but the six-year-old. Can't wait for more!
God bless,
Galadriel

Author Reply: Tell me about it! Elanor is starting to sound like ME at six!!! I'm sorry to admit though, that the pranks were not my idea, they came from Goldberry's own experience with babysitting. Mine was slightly less... shall we say... exciting. Glad you are enjoying!
God bless,
Ellie and Goldberry

Aaawww! Little Frodo lad is so sweet! He reminds me of his namesake, and of his father at the same time. Sweet prologue, and I love your summary! LOL!
God bless,
Galadriel

Author Reply: Wow, really? He reminds you of both of them? Cool! Thank you so much! I am glad you liked it!
God bless,
Ellie

LarnerReviewed Chapter: Prologue on 5/6/2006
October the sixth, eh? Not perhaps a good sign in some ways that Frodo-lad is so in tune with Frodo's own emotional rhythms. But Bilbo and Gandalf did go with him, and help him hold on during those times, I'm certain.

Author Reply: Yeah, it gets interesting later in the story. Trying to make it more fluffy than angsty for the sake of the four year old, but it's really hard! The events Frodo-lad sees are supposed to kind of mirror those that happen in "Stories Beyond the Havens"
God bless,
Ellie
