"Of Birds and Bees"  by cathleen 5 Review(s)

That tale must have lightened the mood of the fellowship on their dark dangerous quest! Mind you, it makes life in the Shire sound a danger of its own!

I'm not sure whether to feel sorry for May and Peony - or think that they, at least, must have enjoyed the whole episode!

Author Reply: Yes, I do agree! I think the Fellowship would need all the humor they could muster on that dark journey. It would have helped keep them going. Thank you so much for reading and leaving FB. It is so motivating to hear that one's story has been enjoyed!

This story had me rolling about unti my sides ached! It was so hilariously funny all through that it is very difficult to pick out one or two bits. Pip is typical of those children who just won't take the hint and shut up! I'm not surprised he received a spanking, and Frodo's revenge was brilliant.

Terrific story!

Author Reply: My goodness, I hope you are all right! I'm so glad you enjoyed my little story. I do like writing humor more than anything else. And yes, I agree, Pip is just one of those kids who is simply unable to keep quiet about what he thinks, despite the consequences! And I just couldn't picture Frodo and Merry NOT getting their revenge!

And still ANOTHER nekkid Hobbit story? I don't know if I can stand many more! These are all so hilarious! Marigold has outdone herself with these!

Author Reply: Yes, there are some magnificient stories this time around! Thanks for reading and reviewing, it is much appreciated.

LOL!!!
That was simply great!

“So, if they’re just figuring out how to be close it doesn’t mean they’re trying to do any more than just that, practicing! And they liked the practicing, didn’t they?” Merry chuckled and winked at the other two.

Actually, it was Merry who came up with the explanation of "practicing". So, it was all his own fault, now wasn't it?

I like your little Pippin! Maybe, he was spanked and embarrassed in the end, but as he says, it's all about perspective :)

And I agree: I would like to hear about Faramir's pranks, too!

Author Reply: I think Merry was sure acting like a typical adolescent and got a bit too smug in the end for Pippin's liking. How awful to be so embarrassed on purpose by your little cousin! So I believe Pip got what he had coming to him. Still, he thought it was all worthwhile, which I guess is the way he looks at all of his mischief making. So tickled you like the way I write Pippin! He's just so much fun! And I'll see what I can do with Boromir telling a story about Faramir's pranks. Thanks so much for reading and reviewing.

this was a real treat so funny to hear Pippin's version of events compared to Frodo,Sam and Merry who seemed to have a very different take on the story and the consequences, Pippin is becoming a real favourite and I loved the influence his innocence has on Boromir, of course we must find out about some of Faramir's exploits now

Author Reply: Yes, I quite agree! We'll have to hear from Boromir about some of his brother's exploits! Maybe Faramir's pranks will give Pip some new ideas! Thanks so much for reading and leaving FB, glad you liked it.
