Yes, I, too, have pictured that parting, as well as the reunion after. I can certainly appreciate her feelings. A thousand years with such as Aragorn wouldn't be long enough. Author Reply: lol, I can totally agree with that statement! I can't imagine the pain she felt at losing Aragorn, especially when Arwen had loved him for almost two centuries. I think she was greatly looking forward to their reunion, too.

Oh my Gosh! This is so beautiful!! Pass me the tissue! I have read many stories regarding this moment with my favorite couple and this has touched me so. The fact that Arwen is caressing his face just got to me. This moment of grief will be just what it is--just a moment--as Aragorn said, "We are not bound to the circles of this world". Though sad that this may be, it truly is a happy ending as they will meet each other again and this time it will be forever! Beatiful! Author Reply: Thank you so much. I'm so glad this touched you like it did. I do think Arwen died so soon after so that she would be able to rejoin him beyond the circles of the world. Their love was so strong that she lost the ability to enjoy the world without him.

All authors have a different view of death, whether by having a good eye & soft heart, or, by experience. This is one of the best I've seen concerning these two people & how it could have been at the end of their lives. Pardon me as I go to dry my eyes, * SNIFFLE * Author Reply: Thanks. I've seen some good stories about this time in their lives, and I'm happy that you consider this one of the best you've seen. Sorry for making you cry, but I do consider that a great compliment. :)

Perfect Misty. So often our grief and hurt defies our logic. Author Reply: Thanks. I was hoping that Arwen's thoughts and emotions were true to the character and the moment.
